PRESENT PASSIVE VOICE

USE:

  • When we want to make the object more important
  • When we do not know the active subject

GRAMMAR REFERENCE:

 Active sentence: He opens the door. 
Passive sentence: The door is opened by him
:
EXAMPLES:

TIME TO LISTEN AND SING:

TIME TO PRACTICE:

  1. Change active sentences to passive ones (1)
  2. Change active sentences to passive ones (2)
  3. Put the words in the correct order
  4. Fill in the blanks with the correct form of the verb
